Our motivation – Why we do it…

What is your most original thought?
Can you say that your most original thought was in no way inspired by others? Now think of all the great thinkers and achievers of the world. Can you think of one person who can claim that their thinking was not inspired by others? Ralph Waldo Emerson said ‘our best thoughts come from others.’ Issac Newton when talking about his great achievements says ‘if I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.’ Point – Thinking is sharing. And the more wonderful the thought the greater the responsibility to share it!

Thoughts are real and you can touch them. You don’t believe it? Just look at the chair you are sitting on and the computer screen you are staring at, they are someone’s thoughts! Magic happens when you touch thoughts. They touch you back and can change your life in ways that you can only imagine. Of course it matters which thoughts you choose to touch-inspiring, uplifting and noble thoughts or the darker ones. The choice is yours.

Itouchedathought is an effort in both thinking and sharing. With handpicked articles from fantastic thinkers and great achievers we are sure to inspire you to both think and share your thinking. What would you pay for a conversation with Azim Premji on his ideas of excellence? Or a chat with Kumar Mangalam Birla on nurturing talent? What if I told you that all that is needed is your interest, time and itouchedathought? In an age of information fast-food, itouchedathought is a refreshing source of healthy reading. The writing on a wide variety of subjects with insights and perspectives from experts, itouchedathought is going to keep you not only informed but also inspired!

Come let’s touch a thought today @ itouchedathought! Facebook

We have readers… who read and then share their thoughts… fortunately, that’s our objective. Thank you.

About itouchedathought

I am a true believer of the concept that man ‘ape’s’ another quickly and never realizes that he/she lived not their lives but someone else’s. I am referencing to the role models available around us; starting from Popeye “the sailor man” to strong character like Howard Roark from fountain Head, Dr. House – T.V Series, Michael Scofield- Prison Break, Dr. Nash – A Beautiful Mind, Dr. Spencer Reid – Criminal Minds, and many others. We might have different role models, but the concept of aping is for ‘real’. I am a die hard fan of all these characters. I now guess, you must have arrived at a conclusion on how I must be thinking? Yea, that’s correct; and that’s me.

Albert Einstein was quoted once that “imagination is more important then knowlege” and damn it is true. When was MY last original thought, i don’t think i have ever had one. Since birth we have all been influenced my our family, friends and the world around us.

Ideas change the world. I’m writing this on a iPad which is a combination of the influencers at Apple, the internet, wireless internet, the battery, touch screen and so many more thoughts rolled into one. Amazing!
